Job Description:We're looking for a Mobile Multi-Skilled Building Services Engineer with a mechanically recognised HVAC qualification from City & Guilds. You will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across your assigned sites, ensuring all building services remain safe, compliant and fully operational. You will also identify repair requirements, prepare quotations for remedial works and carry out approved repairs as required.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across your assigned sites, ensuring all tasks are completed within agreed timescales.
- Accurately complete and update compliance and maintenance records using a company-issued tablet.
- Provide timely job updates, reports, and quotations through our CAFM system, ensuring clients receive live progress updates.
- Effectively manage your own workload and priorities, maintaining regular communication with your Lead Engineer.
- Identify repair requirements and support the preparation and completion of remedial works where required.
- Participate in a reasonable amount of overtime and out-of-hours working when necessary to meet contractual requirements and minimise disruption to client operations.
Hours of Work:
Full time hours with overtime available.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience performing works on HVAC plant and equipment.
- Experience with in the General Building Services industry and relevant qualifications, e.g. Emergency Light Testing, L8 Awareness, Plumbing Repairs, etc.
- Recognised qualification in at least one Maintenance/Engineering discipline.
- Ability to carry out repairs and replacement of plant, fixtures, and fittings as required.
- Ability to carry out servicing and repairs of on-site plant, fixtures, and fittings.
- Ability to organise and manage housekeeping tasks and associated arrangements.
- Good communication skills and a basic understanding of IT systems.
- Must be willing to work overtime regularly to satisfy contractual requirements.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
