. The Operations Manager oversees the entire Montrose operation, managing P&L and leading a diverse team of field‑based service engineers, waste‑collection staff, warehouse operatives and administration. The role is pivotal in shaping service delivery, safety standards, and company profitability.
- Base Salary £60,000 OTE – £72,000 inclusive of performance bonus
- £3,900 Car Allowance
- Monday to Friday – no weekend work

Responsibilities- Recruit, lead, develop and motivate teams of field‑based Service & Sales Technicians, Waste Collection reps, Warehouse and Customer Service/Administrators.
- Provide effective, regular communication, direction, coaching, training, feedback and monthly one‑on‑ones to ensure operational excellence.
- Oversee retention and contract renewals of our existing customer base, guaranteeing timely service delivery and exceeding service‑level expectations.
- Maximise efficiency through route, fleet and resource planning and allocation.
- Maintain the highest Health & Safety standards through risk assessment, investigations and accurate reporting.
- Manage operational performance and costs with rigorous P&L ownership.
- Qualified Transport Manager Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC); advantageous.
- Leadership: lead teams on an inclusive journey with respect, courage and action.
