The Opportunity We’re seeking a highly experienced Audit Manager to join the Southampton office. This is a pivotal role within a dynamic and growing audit team, offering the chance to lead client engagements, manage a diverse portfolio, and contribute to strategic initiatives across the department.

Key Responsibilities Lead and manage audit engagements across a varied client portfolio Ensure high-quality delivery and effective risk management at engagement level Build strong client relationships, connecting the right team members to key stakeholders Oversee resource planning and team workload, ensuring optimal performance Communicate audit findings and progress to clients and Partners proactively Manage billing and forecasting, negotiating overruns where necessary Support team development through coaching, appraisals, and leadership About You ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent qualified, with substantial external audit experience Proven track record in managing audit engagements within a professional services environment Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP (FRS 102) and IFRS Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and lead Experience in business development, including proposals and networking Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate teams to deliver exceptional results What’s on Offer Competitive salary and benefits package Private medical insurance and life assurance Enhanced pension contributions Hybrid working model Generous holiday allowance with option to purchase additional days Shared parental leave and fully funded professional training Cycle to work scheme, season ticket loan, and eye care support Diversity & Inclusion Our Client is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone feels respected and empowered to reach their full potential.
