Site Supervisor

Overview

We are looking for Supervisors to lead the team of HGV Tanker Drivers in the Hampshire Region. The role involves ensuring efficient work aligned with the Waste Contract, covering tankering non‑hazardous liquids from sites to disposal facilities.

4 days on / 4 days off

Depends on experience, including overtime and on‑call bonus.

Millbrook Depot, Hampshire

• Ensure all engineers comply with PPE & Company policy standards.
• Support engineers on the field.
• Assess competency of engineers.
• Conduct audits.
• Train engineers.
• Manage sites and keep clients updated.
• Health & safety onsite responsibilities.
• Basic vehicle maintenance and stock control.
• Provide work instructions to engineers.
• Problem‑solving.
• Set up and stand down sites, housekeeping.
• Plan breaks for 12‑hr or 24‑hr drivers.
• Take deliveries and unload equipment.
• Carry out ad‑hoc requests from LMC Managers or Senior Leadership Team.
• Be aware of all Lanes Group policies and responsibilities.

The ideal candidate is hardworking, respectful, and complies with health and safety standards. Prior management and leadership experience is essential, as is a full UK driver’s licence. Prior knowledge of the utilities sector, especially drainage and wastewater, is an advantage. You must be able to prioritise, multitask, and build working relationships.
