Overview

You’ll contribute to the growth and success of the business by leading and supporting excellent quality investment and development work, taking a proactive role in helping build and maintain client relationships. You’ll also help us to further develop our market share and brand awareness, run transactions from the outset and supervise and mentor others in the team to deliver those transactions for our clients.

As a key member of the team you’ll be involved in business development activities, contribute to an aspirational growth strategy for the team and supervise more junior members of the team. Candidate Profile

You’ll be an experienced technically proficient real estate lawyer with at least 3 years’ post‑qualification experience who’s had extensive exposure to quality real estate investment work and who can add value through first‑class technical and commercial advice hand in hand with business and sector insight. You’ll have rounded knowledge of running investment transactions and client handling skills along with proven experience of asset management transactions and dealing with landlord and tenant issues.

You’ll also have strong internal and external networking skills and ideally have experience of supervising the work of others and enjoy devoting time to share your expertise through coaching and mentoring. To be successful in this role as a minimum you will have:

Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of post-qualified experience as an England & Wales Solicitor. Skilled in managing real estate investment acquisitions and disposals
  • Proven investment transaction experience
  • Experience of working with real estate investors (whether funds, property companies, charities or private clients) and managing landlord & tenant issues

Southampton Role

Our Southampton real estate team is extremely busy with a wide range of work. You will have the opportunity to work with funds, asset managers, property companies and public bodies investing in and developing UK real estate, handling high‑value transactions and joining a motivated and collaborative team which deals with the whole lifecycle of asset management and development work. This particular team has a national reputation for the quality of its work and client following.
