I am working with a leading multidisciplinary built environment firm with offices globally to appoint their next studio lead in Southampton. Combining technical expertise, technology, and strategic insight, it partners with clients to solve complex challenges and create sustainable, long-term value. With a multidisciplinary team of consultants, designers, engineers, and project professionals, the firm is committed to delivering excellence, improving communities, and helping shape a better future for people and the planet.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational and commercial performance of the studio, including team leadership, workforce planning, resource coordination, and budget management. You will provide strategic direction and leadership on complex projects and growth initiatives, with a key focus on driving business growth through client engagement, spotting growth opportunities, and overseeing effective bids and tenders across the South-West region.

Working closely with colleagues and stakeholders, you will lead the development of compelling design concepts, secure new commissions, and ensure the successful delivery of projects. You will also play an active role in expanding the project pipeline across local government, education, commercial, and related sectors, supporting both single-discipline and integrated multidisciplinary opportunities.

• ARB Registered Senior Architect
• Experience leading teams and delivering complex projects nationally
• Strong design and technical skills with ability to lead projects through all stages of delivery
• Proven track record in bid and tender preparation
• Confidence to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders
• Own a car with a clean UK driving licence to deliver projects across the South West
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
• Ability to pass UKSV security clearance
