* The Role:

** This role is most suited to someone with a strong background in work transfer and new product introduction in a highly regulated manufacturing industry. As part of your role you'll be expected to:
• Manage complex global projects from conception to completion, using appropriate methodologies.

Provide day-to-day direction and support to the project team.  
• Participates and/or drives project planning through Merger & Acquisitions.  
• Reviews and ensures the effectiveness of Ontic project procedures, processes,   templates, and tools. Partners with peers from other Ontic sites to ensure consistency.  
• Work with business functions and project stakeholders to define the project approach.  
• Definition of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and estimates resource requirements.  
• Identification and application of project dependencies and activity sequencing.  
• Monitors project governance to ensure adherence to project plans and milestone achievement,   taking appropriate action where timing is compromised, or the critical path affected.  
• Manage the project to the agreed scope and act upon any proposed changes in scope.  
• Monitor and report upon project outputs and acceptance criteria.  
• Provide day-to-day direction and support to the project team.  
• Manage the preparation and update of project documentation sets.  
• Risk & Opportunity Management throughout the project lifecycle, escalation of issues and   trends from across the Risk & Opportunity portfolio to the RoW PMO Director.  
• Implementation of project Quality Assurance  
• Monitoring of planned resource utilisation vs basis of estimate.  
• Managing internal resources to ensure timely allocation to planned activities and effective release of resources to business-as-usual.

To be successful in this role you'll need to have:
• Project Management Professional certification is preferred  
• Extensive understanding in a range of project management   
• Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools  
• Knowledge of the aerospace industry/manufacturing processes is required  
• Knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures  
• A working knowledge of business IT systems and in-depth knowledge of MS Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook
• Highly motivated with strong technical and interpersonal skills  
• Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills  
• Displays sound judgement and has a high level of tact and diplomacy  
• Possesses enough gravitas and credibility to advise and influence project teams and other internal stakeholders  
• Able to self-manage and coach team members   
• Able to produce quality, accurate and timely management and business information  
• Possess excellent verbal and written skills and be able to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization  
• Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize a varied workload  
• Have a keen eye for detail and must be able to think clearly and perform duties under pressure
