Non-Regulated This maternity cover position plays an important role in supporting Quilter's ambition to become a more skills and capability-led organisation. The role enables Quilter's workforce capability strategy by turning skills insight into targeted development solutions, maximising Skills & Growth Levy (apprenticeship levy) investment and ensuring development activity is focused on closing priority capability gaps. Working closely with HR, Learning, Data and business stakeholders, you will help identify and prioritise organisational capability needs, translate those needs into practical development opportunities and provide insight on the effectiveness of learning interventions.

A particular area of focus will be supporting Quilter's ongoing development of AI, digital and future workforce capabilities. The role combines capability insight, stakeholder engagement and programme coordination to ensure development activity is evidence-based, aligned to business priorities and delivers measurable impact. Support the design and delivery of Quilter’s talent management and development strategy across our organisation:

Key Responsibilities
  • Workforce Capability Insight & Skills Gap Analysis Identify, analyse and prioritise organisational and functional capability gaps aligned to business strategy and future workforce requirements. Maintain a clear view of priority capability needs and development activity across the organisation. Gather and analyse workforce, learning and talent data to provide evidence-based capability insights. Support the development of capability frameworks, skills assessments and workforce capability reporting.

    Provide recommendations to HR and business stakeholders on emerging capability risks and opportunities.
  • Talent & Succession Management Lead the coordination of Quilter's annual talent and succession review process, ensuring consistency, quality and timely completion across the organisation. Maintain oversight of talent and succession information and reporting, ensuring accurate data supports workforce planning and decision‑making. Identify succession risks, critical role dependencies and future leadership capability requirements. Produce talent and succession insights on bench strength, succession readiness, talent pipelines and organisational risk.
