Technical Director – Development Infrastructureð Southampton / South & Southeast Region |ð Hybrid & Flexible Working Available We’re seeking a driven and experienced Technical Director to lead and grow a high-performing development infrastructure team.

This is a strategic, senior leadership role focused on delivering major civil engineering projects, driving business development, and shaping the future of the team across the South and Southeast.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical leadership across highways, drainage, earthworks, and utilities design

Lead client engagement, project direction, and commercial strategy

Identify and secure new business opportunities

Mentor and develop engineering teams, fostering innovation and excellence

Collaborate with regional leadership to support growth plans

What We’re Looking For:

Degree-qualified Civil Engineer with Chartered status

Extensive experience in civil design for development-led projects

Strong track record in business development and key client management

Proven leadership capabilities with a collaborative, forward-thinking mindset
