CNC TURNER/MANUAL MACHINIST

My client are seeking a motivated CNC Turner with Manual Machining experience, to join our high-performance team. This exciting role involves working at the Southampton facility and providing global event support to the Technical Team, reporting to the Machine Shop Manager.

Responsibilities:

Programming, setting and operating Mazak CNC lathes using Mazatrol
Precision machining to tight tolerances, typically 0.01mm
Read and interpret engineering drawings
Self inspection using hand tools

Background & Experience Required:

Minimum 3 years experience with programming, setting and operating Mazak lathes using Mazatrol
Proven experience in R&D work as well as small batch production
Demonstrated background in marine or high-performance engineering environments
Hands-on experience operating manual machining equipment, lathes, mills etc
Experience programming, setting and operating CNC Mill/Turns using Mazatrol an advantage

Background & Experience Required:

Salary - 42,000- 47,000

Hours of Work - 40hrs (7am-4pm Monday
- Thursday 7am-1pm Friday)

Overtime Available

Happy to travel worldwide to event sites to complete work. Roughly 150 days away across the year
