Skilled Fitters - Aerospace (Rib Cell)

Contract Opportunity

Our client, a leading organisation within the aerospace sector, is seeking two Skilled Fitters to join their Rib Cell team on a contract basis.

Both positions will be working on the late shift

PAYE - Lates (20% uplift): £25.94 per hour
Umbrella - Lates (20% uplift): £35.66 per hour

• Mon-Thu: 14:15-22:30
• Fri: 12:00-18:00

• Assemble aerospace components accurately and to specification
• Fit rib cell components with precision and a strong focus on quality
• Interpret engineering drawings and technical instructions
• Use hand tools and machinery safely and effectively
• Perform quality checks and resolve any fitting issues
• Work collaboratively to maintain effective production flow
• Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant work area
• Follow all relevant health, safety, and regulatory requirements

• Proven fitting experience within the aerospace industry
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
• Competent in the use of hand tools and machinery
• Understanding of quality control processes
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
• Commitment to safety and compliance standards
• Relevant vocational qualifications or equivalent experience

This role requires Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance.
