Prototype Technician
£30,000 - £40,000 + Bonus + Share Scheme | Mon‑Fri schedule | Southampton
We are looking for an experienced Prototype Technician skilled in electronics, RC modelling, and manufacturing support to join our forward‑thinking marine transportation company. The role focuses on hands‑on workshop work, assembly, and testing of advanced prototype systems.
The Role- Prepare and assemble prototype and manufacturing components.
- Cable, wire and solder electrical systems.
- Operate and maintain 3D printers.
- Build, test and maintain RC aircraft and RC systems.
- Support prototype development and workshop activities.
- Experience in cabling and soldering with practical engineering or manufacturing background.
- Background in RC modelling or building RC aircraft.
- Experience using and maintaining 3D printers.
- Commutable to Southampton.
