Welder; MIG​/TIG

Stafforce Ports is recruiting 2 permanent Welders for a well-established client in Southampton, Hampshire. The business is experiencing rapid growth while maintaining a friendly, family-oriented culture. The role includes fabrication, repair, and modification of steel and aluminium components to support ongoing maintenance and refit work.

• MIG and TIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
• Fabrication and repair work on structural and pipework components
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Carrying out repairs both in workshop and external locations
• Maintaining a clean and safe working area
• Working independently or as part of a team to meet deadlines

• Previous experience in MIG/TIG welding
• Ability to work to and interpret drawings
• Comfortable working in industrial environments
• Code qualifications desirable but not essential
• Ability to be flexible during busy periods (weekends and nights)

• Full‑time salary circa £41,000
• Frequent overtime opportunities with enhanced rates (time and a half and double time)
• 20 + 5 days holiday
