54franchises. We differentiate ourselves from ourcompetitorsby delivering an exceptional level of service toboth our customers and manufacturing partners We are currently on the lookout for a talented Bodyshop Paint Technician to join our team at Snows Accident Repair Centre,based in Southampton.
The Bodyshop Paint Technician is part of the paint shop and is responsible for the refinish paint work to all vehicles in the workshop for repair. This includes the preparation stage through to completion, always achieving a high standard of repair.
Your day will include working alongside others in the Bodyshop team:
- Responsible for ensuring the correct paint repair is performed on the damaged vehicles.
- Ensuring the correct paint is chosen and the appropriate preparation is performed on the vehicle before it is painted.
- Maintain the paint room and associated equipment to ensure it is of a good working order reporting any defaults to the management.
- Follow instructions on the job card regarding the re-paint.
- Use PPE and safety measure in the paint room (extraction fan) to minimise accidents.
- Supervise other team members as necessary.
- Report any problems that arise to the Work Controller and liaise with other departments where appropriate.
- Relevant industry NVQ’s or City & Guilds accreditation.
- Previous experience working in a manufacturer approved accident repair centre.
- Experience in all aspects of automotive paint re finishing and deliver a quality finish.
- Commitment to working as part of a team.
- Able to plan, organise self and meet agreed work deadlines.
- Attention to detail and maintains good, accurate quality of work.
- Experience in providing a first-class service to customers.
- Full clean driving licence.

Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00(with half hour for lunch)
