Process Operator

Astute's Power Team is exclusively partnered with H.J. Baker Sulphur & Fertilizer, to recruit for a Process Operator to join their well-established sulphur processing facility in Southampton, Hampshire.

The vital Process Operator role comes with a basic salary of c.£38,000 per annum + c.£4,000 shift allowance + overtime + bonus + a highly attractive pension scheme. The working hours will be Monday - Friday split shifts including 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm however, this could vary depending on operation demands of the site including the requirement to work on weekends.

Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for:

• Carrying out daily operational activities to meet sulphur production and loading targets safely, efficiently, and in line with operational requirements.
• Adhere to all site procedures and standards, including health, safety, environmental, permit-to-work, isolation, manual handling, working at height, emergency response, and hazardous substance management protocols.
