Painter / Labourer (Industrial Equipment)
Location: Bishops Waltham - Onsite Parking Available
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 16:30
Pay: £13.50 per hour
Type: Full-time, Temporary (On-going)
We're looking for a reliable and hands-on Painter / Labourer to join our busy workshop team in Bishops Waltham. You'll play an important role in the preparation and painting of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs)-including scissor lifts and boom lifts-ensuring each machine is painted and finished to a high professional standard.

, and general workshop support within a friendly and supportive team environment.
- Prepare and paint mobile elevating equipment to a high-quality finish.
- Carry out surface preparation including cleaning, masking, sanding, and grinding.
- Remove old or failing paint using tools such as sanders or grinders.
- Apply industrial coatings and finishes using aerosol or spray systems.
- Work efficiently to meet production targets and maintain workshop standards.
- Follow all site health & safety procedures and wear provided PPE.
- Support general labouring and workshop duties as required.
- Previous experience in an industrial painting
, workshop
, or mechanical finishing role. - Able to work independently and as part of a close-knit team.
- Good attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
- Reliable, punctual, and proactive with a positive attitude.
- Physically fit and comfortable performing manual tasks.
- Full training provided.
- All PPE and equipment supplied.
- Supportive and friendly work environment.
- Stable, full-time hours with onsite parking.
