Our sister agency Gotta Be! Ethnic is a specialist multi-cultural marketing agency, helping brands connect with the 14.6 million people in the UK who come from an ethnic minority background.
Our client portfolio includes Western Union, Specsavers, Pay Pal, Uber, Domino’s Pizza, DKMS, the NHS, and many more.
A lot has changed in the last 12 months at Gotta Be! we have ambitious growth targets. We’ve just moved into a brand new home at Adanac Trade Park in Southampton, launched a new website this year and we are currently working on our brands.
We’re on the hunt for…An enthusiastic and creative
Brand Marketing Executive
to join our growing Marketing team. This role is ideal for someone with some marketing experience (or relevant degree/placement) who is looking to build their career in a fast-paced, fun, and supportive agency environment.
You’ll get hands‑on with everything from social media and content creation to digital campaigns and events. No two days are the same at Gotta Be! — so if you’re organised, proactive, and eager to learn, this could be the perfect role for you.
What you’ll be doing …- Content Creation:
Write engaging blogs, case studies, and social posts that showcase our work and expertise. - Social Media:
Support the planning and scheduling of content across our channels, helping us stay fresh, relevant, and engaging. - Email Marketing:
Assist with creating and sending out campaigns that connect with our audiences. - Events:
Help deliver marketing‑led events such as webinars, round tables, and our headline EDI Together event. - Reporting & Insights:
Track performance of campaigns and socials, pulling together learnings and ideas for improvements. - Collaboration:
Work closely with different teams across the agency to make sure our marketing supports client and business goals.
- Some experience in marketing (through a role, apprenticeship, internship, or degree)
- Strong writing skills with the ability to create clear and engaging content
- An interest in digital marketing and social media
- A creative eye and good attention to detail
- Highly organised with the ability to juggle multiple tasks
- A proactive, can‑do attitude and willingness to get stuck in
- Confident using Microsoft Office and keen to learn new tools
Desirable but not essential:
- Familiarity with Canva, Photoshop, or other design tools
- Understanding of SEO, Google Ads, or paid social campaigns
- Experience with CRM or email platforms (e.g. Mailchimp, Hub Spot)
- Salary DOE
