Digital Marketing & E-commerce Executive

Our client, a well-established leader in its industry, is seeking a motivated and experienced Digital Marketing & E-commerce Executive to drive online sales and brand presence. This role, based in the bustling hub of Randburg, Gauteng , is crucial for expanding our client's digital footprint and ensuring a seamless online customer experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and executing digital marketing campaigns, managing e-commerce platforms, and leveraging social media to connect with target audiences.

We are looking for a proactive individual who can analyze market trends, identify new opportunities, and contribute to the overall growth strategy of the business through innovative digital initiatives.

Develop and implement integrated digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, content marketing, email marketing, and social media marketing. Manage and optimize the company's e-commerce website, ensuring a user-friendly interface, effective product merchandising, and smooth checkout process. Oversee all social media activities, including content creation, campaign management, community engagement, and performance tracking across various platforms. Analyze website traffic, conversion rates, customer data, and campaign performance to provide actionable insights and recommendations.

Plan and execute paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Social Media Ads) to drive qualified traffic and conversions. Collaborate with creative teams to develop engaging marketing collateral and website content. Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of the curve in digital marketing and e-commerce. Manage marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and measurable ROI. Work closely with sales and customer service teams to ensure alignment and a consistent customer experience.

Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital marketing and e-commerce management. Proven expertise in SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, and social media marketing platforms. Hands-on experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Magento, Shopify, Woo Commerce). Strong understanding of content strategy and creation for digital channels. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.

Proficiency in marketing automation tools and CRM systems is a plus. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to manage projects from conception to completion.
