Clinical Deputy Manager

Role Overview

Deputy Manager at Templeton Place, a luxury care home providing residential, dementia and nursing care for older people.

• Uphold the values of Hamberley Care Homes and lead the care teams.
• Provide leadership, support and supervision for clinical and care staff as advised by the Home Manager.
• Assist with on‑call duties according to the needs of the home and Home Manager.
• Research, devise and deliver written and verbal training modules and workshops to improve care delivery.
• Provide feedback to the Home Manager on areas for staff improvement.
• Support the Home Manager with clinical aspects of the home, including assessments of potential residents and liaison with commissioners and stakeholders.
• Lead team and clinical review meetings.
• Work with the Home Manager and QA teams to ensure effective and safe clinical practice is maintained.
• Carry out investigations and respond to any complaints or concerns.

• Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin and demonstrable post‑registration experience
• Managing or mentoring experience
• Previous experience as a senior nurse, staff nurse or registered nurse in a care home environment is desirable
• People management experience

• Confident communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills
