What you will be doing:
- With experience in mental health settings across the NHS or private sector, you'll lead the nursing team to deliver sane, structured and compassionate care within our 12-bed CYPMHS service. You'll champion high standards, support your colleagues, and cultivate a positive, learning-focused environment.
- Provide clinical leadership, expertise and direction across the ward
- Offer guidance, supervision and coaching to build a unified, confident and engaged workforce
- Ensure high standards of care are maintained and continuously improved within the Clinical Governance framework
- Lead by example, acting as a role model for safe practice, professionalism and compassionate care
- Manage ward budgets, staffing and resources effectively
- Work alongside the Senior Nurse to support the on-call service
- Hold a key role within the MDT, acting as an expert resource in CMHS nursing
- Maintain a collaborative supportive environment where staff can reach their potential and deliver exceptional care
- Take charge of the ward as the designated clinical leader

Things that you will have:- A relevant nursing qualification
- NMC registration
- Experience with in mental health settings
- A positive, compassionate and values-led approach
- A commitment to high-quality, evidence-based care
- Experience in a similar environment or senior nursing role
- A proven track record of effective leadership

12 bed CYPMHS service to support young people aged 12-18 with eating disorders. With an onsite school providing educational services while the young people are in our care and full multidisciplinary team, it's a great opportunity to be part of something new and help shape its future.
