QC Inspector

This position is based on site full time on a permanent basis.

• Prepare Quality Test Packs as per specific “Scope of Work” work packs.
• Provide quality related technical support for projects / maintenance.
• Carry out daily on-site Quality Control Visual Inspection of welds, flange fit-up, Gasket compliance to Isometric drawings & Bolt torquing, to General Practices 12-12.
• Carry out daily Dimensional checks and Visual Inspection of welds to all Off-site delivered piping spools.
• Maintain and update NDE FOCUL submissions that are stored on an Excel sheet in S-Drive.
• Issuance of welding Consumables as per Quality Controlled Weld Cards.
• Contribute to the improvement and technical capabilities of the Company.
• Contribute to on-site Quality Auditing – Internal & External alongside QA/QC Engineer.
• Support existing strong workshop HSE culture.

• Welding related background, advantages.
• Knowledge and experience in Quality Control systems and processes.
• Knowledge of Quality Plans, (ITPs etc.).
• Able to read and understand isometric drawings.
• Familiarity with pipe standards and specifications.
• Computer literate; knowledge of Microsoft Office suite essential.
• Understanding of fabrication, welding and NDT techniques.

• CSWIP Level 3.0 Welding Inspector.
• NDE Knowledge – (Desirable) (NDE= Non-Destructive Examination).
• Fabrication/Welding apprenticeship (Desirable).
