Senior Clinical Trials Assistant – Imaging Technician (Band4)
The University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHS) is offering a position within its Trust‑wide Research Team in the Ophthalmology Research Service.
In this role you will support the coordination and delivery of clinical research studies, working under the guidance of experienced imaging technicians, research nurses and principal investigators.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and deliver clinical research studies within the Ophthalmology Research Service.
- Undertake ophthalmic imaging and assist with study procedures.
- Ensure accurate data collection in line with study protocols.
- Collaborate with R&D, research teams and multidisciplinary colleagues to ensure efficient, safe delivery in accordance with regulatory and governance standards.
- Contribute to improvements in patient care and innovation through research support.
