Research Fellow

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Research Fellow to work on a NIHR ARC Wessex programme for Living Well with Long Term Conditions. In this programme of work, we will enhance health and well-being of people living with multiple long-term conditions (MLTC) by adopting a bio-psychosocial design. The work will focus on commonly experienced problems associated with MLTC, moving away from a narrow condition specific focus.

Candidates should have research experience in LTC/MLTC and have an interest or demonstrate relevant experience in applied health research projects and successful completion of research activities or projects including publications. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate an ability to organise their own workload, plan research activities to a high standard and to deadlines and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge, experience and understanding of personalised care and training, research implementation and work with local authorities would be an advantage.

As a university we aim to create an environment where everyone can thrive and are proactive in fostering a culture of inclusion, respect and equality of opportunity. We believe that we can only truly meet our objectives if we are reflective of society, so we are passionate about creating a working environment in which you are free to bring your whole self to work.

With a generous holiday allowance as well as additional university closure days we are committed to supporting our staff and students and open to a flexible working approach.
