3535026VB - Senior Research Dissemination Fellow (Life Lab)
University of Southampton has been awarded funding to develop and host a Specialist Centre for Public Health. Life Lab is a unique research-based educational project created by the University of Southampton in collaboration with the NIHR Biomedical Research Centre and University Hospital Southampton. With children and young people at the heart of everything we do, Life Lab provides engaging experiences in and outside schools in a variety of creative formats.
These experiences empower children and young people to understand the science behind the health messages they see and hear. They are able to apply that knowledge to the choices they make for their own lives – for their health now, in the future and for their future families.
About the Role
The Senior Research Dissemination Fellow will support our ongoing work by identifying and optimising the research and dissemination outputs of Life Lab. You will be required to work proactively across the team to understand the range and depth of work undertaken in Life Lab and wider Specialist Centre for Public Health and to prepare quality research outputs for dissemination.
You will have knowledge and experience of research within the public health sector, and to be able to work collaboratively to project delivery dates. You will also be an excellent communicator and able to build relationships both internally and externally.
This post is offered on a fixed term (24 months) basis in the School of Healthcare Enterprise & Innovation. As a school we operate hybrid working with an expected minimum of 20% in office. This role is available as a fractional or full-time post.
