Commercial Analyst

In our continuous journey of growth and innovation at Carnival UK, we are seeking a Senior Commercial Analyst (Finance) to bring fresh insights and expertise to our Digital & Technology department. This pivotal role will involve:

• Acting as a key conduit between commercial and finance teams for accurate financial management
• Monitoring and analysing monthly commercial and financial data to identify trends and opportunities
• Supporting contract creation, execution, and analysis to optimise financial and operational performance
• A key facilitator in the building of quarterly forecasts and annual budget builds
• Contributing to automation and process efficiency improvements

While this isn't a finance role, understanding accounting and financial practices is critical to the role's success. This role is positioned at CUK
08 level within our organisation and is available on a full-time, fixed term (12 months) basis. We offer hybrid work including up to two days from home.

• Advanced Excel skills (essential)
• Financial accounting experience, or practicable knowledge and application (essential)
• Power BI skills (desirable or willingness to learn)
• Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities
• Ability to effectively apply digital skills and appropriate methods, tools, and processes

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and problem-solving mindset
• Ability to build rapport with stakeholders
• Systematic approach to work and sound judgement
