Sales Associate/Assistant, Commission Sales
About the Role
Employed by The Fundraising Partnership, you will be a Fundraiser representing and generating donations on behalf of the Alzheimer's Society. Your job will be to have wonderful, genuine passionate conversations with the general public to support the charity with a small regular donation. Work may be in major retail stores, door‑to‑door in local homes, or at premium venues such as supermarkets, shows, and events.
Responsibilities- Have engaging, genuine conversations with the public to secure small regular donations for the Alzheimer's Society.
- Work within 30 minutes of your home and manage your own working day with support when needed.
- Maintain integrity, self‑motivation, and a high standard of service; good listening and communication skills are essential.
- Support the charity’s mission by promoting awareness and fundraising for dementia research and support services.
- Permanent access to a vehicle, a valid driver’s licence, appropriate insurance, and a valid MOT.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in sales (Avon, energy sales, catalogue sales, direct sales, door‑to‑door sales, field sales, broadband sales, brand ambassador) is desirable but not mandatory.
- Ability to work full‑time or part‑time: 3/4/5 day roles available (21‑35 hours per week).
- Willingness to work within the area listed on each shift.
- Full or part‑time roles (21‑35 hours per week).
- £30,000 – £40,000 OTE (guaranteed hourly rate of £12.21) with bonus for exceeding targets.
- Daily mileage allowance.
- 20 days holiday (pro‑rata) plus an extra day off on your birthday.
- Time off over Christmas.
- Flexible working hours and compressible hours over two weeks.
- Private sites and door‑to‑door roles available (area dependent).
- Full training and ongoing support.
- Work close to home.
- Pension scheme.
