Business Development Manager

Salary:
Up to £40,000 + Uncapped Commission

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team, working on one of the UK’s top industry trade shows. You’ll play a key role in growing revenue through exhibition space and sponsorship sales, while building long-term client partnerships within a thriving sector.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Identifying and securing new business opportunities through outbound calls, meetings, and networking.
  • Selling exhibition stands and sponsorship packages to senior decision-makers across various industries.
  • Developing and managing strong client relationships to drive repeat business and growth.
  • Representing the company at trade shows, conferences, and networking events nationwide.
  • Meeting and exceeding individual and team sales targets.
  • Working closely with internal teams to ensure client expectations are delivered seamlessly.
What We’re Looking For:
  • At least 2 years’ experience in B2B sales, ideally within events, exhibitions, or media.
  • A confident, self-motivated individual with a hunter mentality and a track record of hitting targets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills – comfortable engaging clients over the phone and face-to-face.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to manage a sales pipeline effectively.
  • A tenacious, strategic thinker who thrives under pressure and is eager to succeed.
