Job Role: Security Team Leader

Working Hours: Varied schedule - average 42-48 hours per week

Pay: £13.93 per hour

Location: Marlands Shopping Centre,Southampton, SO14 7SJ

Reporting to: Contracts Manager

To support our continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services for an experienced Security Team Leader tojoin our established security team based at The Marlands Shopping Centre in Southampton.

As Security Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the site security team, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard. You will be required to provide a high level of customer service to visitors in the centre, complete patrols and remainvigilant at all times. The successful candidate must have a valid SIA Door Supervisor licence as a minimumand a CCTV Licence is preferred.

Duties include:

• Protecting the client’s property, people and/or assets by providing security services in direct accordance with the sites published
  
  Assignment Instructions (AI’s) and site-specific procedures
• Preventing losses and damage by reporting irregularities;informing offenders of policy and procedures
• Assisting the Control Room and CCTV operation including allfiles and documentation to meet all data protection requirements of GDPR,reporting to the Regional Operations Manager and the Data Processor (Centre Manager).
• Oversee all day-to-day security operations, ensuring efficient service delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
• Ensure cleaning schedules are being followed. Managercontractor work permit procedures.
• Ensure all necessary health and safety inspections/patrols are completed to maintain compliance of site procedures. Reporting all incidents,accidents, damage and near missed to the management team (Client) immediatelyvia verbal communication followed by a detailed investigation report.
• Ensure all defects are reported.
• Actively maintain a safe, helpful, and secure environment forstaff, customers, visitors, and the Centre’s tenants.
• Deal with customer queries and complaints quickly and efficiently and escalating when required to a senior manager in which itapplies, reporting all cases

• Full 5-year employment checkable history
• Valid frontline SIA licences DS or SG
• Customer Service experience and confidence to handleconflict in a correct manner
• Flexible to meet the job requirements
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Smart appearance and be well-groomed
• Reliable and punctual
• High level of enthusiasm and passion
• Ability to work in a fast-moving environment
