Mitie is looking for an experienced Security Officer to join the team on site at West Quay Shopping Centre, Southampton. The role is a relief position on a flexible rota covering days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.

: £13.09 per hour.

Requirements
:
Must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.

• Work outdoors in all weather conditions; perform extensive patrolling.
• Demonstrate a determined, trustworthy, attentive, and approachable character when welcoming clients and customers.
• Serve as the first point of contact for all customers and clients, staying geographically aware of local surroundings.
• Spot and stop all suspicious sightings or potential criminal activity, retaining full control until emergency services arrive.
• Report to the Security Shift Manager, recording, reporting, and escalating all sightings and arrests on a regular basis.
