Leakage Technician

Overview

FJA is working with a large water utilities company that is recruiting experienced Leakage Technicians to conduct day‑to‑day leak detection activities across Bournemouth, Salisbury and Southampton areas.

Excellent rates of pay!

• Undertake survey work or projects not normally associated with daily leak detection.
• Assist repair gangs by providing leak detection services.
• Carry out detailed surveys to identify the type and location of water leakage on large diameter pipes.
• Perform Step Tests—an effective method for identifying high leakage within a water distribution network—setting up zones of DMAs where water can be supplied through a single meter.
• Complete all paperwork accurately, including timesheets, survey forms and leak details.
• Execute surveys typically at night when consumption is lowest and most stable, minimizing consumer disruption.

Possession of the following current certification would be advantageous but not essential:

• Unit 2 Street Works

To be a Leakage Technician you must drive for the role and hold a full and valid driving licence.
