Job Description - Support Coordinator (26532)

Earn £14.06 (Salary £27,500 pro rata) plus 34 days leave (rising to 39) and a health cash plan worth over £1,140.

Permanent part time (28 hpw), on an 8 week rolling rota.

Location:

Southampton. We can’t offer a CoS for this role.

• Lead support planning and coordinate Support Workers to deliver person‑centred support
• Balance safeguarding, admin and meetings while guiding colleagues and managing caseloads
• Support customers with daily tasks such as budgeting, cooking and attending appointments
• Work with multi‑agency teams to safeguard and empower customers
• Help customers build independence and prepare for their move‑on into the community

• Passion and experience in supporting others, ideally in a supported housing setting
• Level 3 Diploma in Care or equivalent experience (or willingness to work towards it)
• Experience assessing referrals and coordinating support
• Ability to work under your own initiative, remain calm under pressure and maintain a resilient approach
• Work with men and women aged 18‑64 who have mental health and dual diagnosis in a ten‑bed service
• Work on an 8 week rolling rota, including alternate weekends and sleep‑ins
• Daily training and team meetings
• Enhanced background check with barring list (provided)
