What you will do:
- Support children and families through the entire process, from initial contact to achieving permanency if necessary.
- Conduct thorough referral and assessment casework to ensure accurate evaluations and planning.
- Lead on Child in Need and Child Protection plans, steadily guiding families to improved outcomes.
- Collaborate with legal professionals when required to secure permanency for children and young people.
- Manage a variable caseload with the aid of a case weighting tool, ensuring focused and effective service delivery.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant frontline experience in Social Services within the UK working as a qualified Social Worker
