What you will do:

  • Support children and families through the entire process, from initial contact to achieving permanency if necessary.
  • Conduct thorough referral and assessment casework to ensure accurate evaluations and planning.
  • Lead on Child in Need and Child Protection plans, steadily guiding families to improved outcomes.
  • Collaborate with legal professionals when required to secure permanency for children and young people.
  • Manage a variable caseload with the aid of a case weighting tool, ensuring focused and effective service delivery.

Requirements of the Social Worker:

  • Degree or equivalent in social work
  • Current Social Work England registration
  • Significant frontline experience in Social Services within the UK working as a qualified Social Worker
