**** About the Role
** As a Senior Developer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and delivering high-quality AI-driven software solutions that form complete, integrated services. You’ll lead technical delivery and champion best practices across the engineering lifecycle
** What You’ll be doing
*** Lead technical delivery on complex projects, collaborating with architects, delivery managers, and stakeholders
* Continuously improve engineering capability through coaching, mentoring, and technical leadership
* Operate and enhance production services for robustness, resilience, and stability
* Share knowledge and best practices and identify training opportunities for the team
* Communicate goals and technical issues effectively across teams
* Provide line management to Engineers and Associate Engineers (as required)
** What We’re Looking For
*** Proven experience as a senior developer in backend development
* Strong skills in Python, SQL and cloud-based AI frameworks (e.g Databricks, azure AI services)
* Proficient with Azure-based software development including Azure Dev Ops, Git, CI/CD, Entra  and Azure Services
* Understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and agile delivery
* Experience with geospatial data, REST APIs, JSON and spatial query engines (e.g. Apache Spark)
* Experience with Generative AI technologies including Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) and Prompt/Context Engineering
* Passion for continuous improvement and delivering high-quality solutions

* * We embrace a hybrid working model  have a fantastic HQ in Southampton, Hampshire where you will be based and required to spend 2-3 days a week.
