About the role:

Work within the development team to extend and expand upon the extensive statistical, time series and machine learning capabilities of our data analytics portfolio.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, physics, computer science, or other numerical technical discipline
  • Minimum 4 years of experience writing high‑quality C++ code for enterprise applications
  • Understanding higher level mathematical and statistical research papers and implementing those algorithms in a robust and scalable manner
  • Logical problem‑solving approach with clear communication of solutions to the wider team
  • Familiarity with statistical, econometric time series, machine learning, or other mathematical algorithms and their uses
  • Master’s or PhD degree in a mathematical discipline (preferred)
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in a software engineering or research environment (plus)
  • Experience with other programming languages in the data analytics and numerical space (Matlab, R, Python, SAS)
  • Highly self‑motivated to learn
  • Commercial awareness and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and team‑working skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills in fluent English
  • Strong organizational skills
