HGV Class 1 Port Shunter Driver

TLP Recruitment are seeking experienced Class 1 (C+E) Shunter Drivers to work for our client based in the Southampton Docks area

Our client operates within the port logistics sector
, supporting container movements across the South. They are now looking for reliable and flexible drivers who are confident working in a fast-paced port environment.

• £14.00 – £15.50+ per hour (PAYE)
• Guaranteed 10 hours pay per shift
• Flexible working – shifts built around YOU
• Day shifts (06:00 – 18:00) and night shifts (18:00 – 06:00) available
• Enhanced rates on weekends and bank holidays
• Ongoing, regular work with a leading logistics company
• Weekly Pay – get paid on time, every time
• Supportive and friendly team available 24/7
• Immediate starts available
• Pro-rata Paid Annual Leave for PAYE employees

• Valid UK Category C+E (Class
  1) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous commercial driving experience
• Ideally container or port experience (not essential)
• DP World card advantageous
• Maximum 6 points (no INs or DRs, due to insurance)
• Positive, can-do attitude
• Reliability and flexibility

• Shunting containers around the port using tug units
• Supporting a busy container operation safely and efficiently
• Following all site and port safety procedures
