Location: Nursling
HGV CLASS 1 DRIVER WANTED ***
Here at The Best Connection we are looking for Class 1 drivers to join our client based in Nursling. This role is ad‑hoc/ongoing work that can turn into potential full‑time contract.
Salary: £17.00–18.50 per hour
Shift Patterns:
Monday to Friday
Location:
Nursling, Southampton
The Role
- Driving Class 1 doing trunks up the main hub in Derby and back
- Collecting and delivering containers from the docks
- Driving double deckers or box vehicle doing deliveries and collections
- Drivers must have experience at the docks and general haulage
- Good communication skills and reporting any issues on the road to management
- Confidence with manoeuvring vehicles on and off loading bays and reversing between vehicles
- 2 years experience
- Full UK HGV Licence
- CPC & Digi Card required
