Class 2 Driver

Gi Group are recruiting a temporary to permanent (12 weeks) Class 2 Driver in Southampton (SO30) for a well known cash and carry company. This company supplies wholesale food and drink to shops, restaurants and more.

Driver shifts and Pay:
Rotating between:

• Week 1:
  Monday to Friday 06.00am to 15.00 or 07.00am to 16.00
• Week 2:
  Tuesday to Saturday 06.00am to 15.00 or 07.00am to 16.00

Hourly Rate: £20.82/hr* (PAYE and inclusive of Advanced Holiday Pay)

• Conducting vehicle checks
• Manual handling is involved while loading and unloading stock
• Multidrop Delivery:
  Between 4 - 10 Drops per day
• Customer drops within 2-hour radius of Southampton
• Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

• No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
• Good customer service skills
• Valid and in date Tachograph and CPC qualifications
• At least 1 year experience with Class 2 driving

• 30 days (includes bank holidays) bank holidays are classed as normal working days
• A percentage of personal spend back to the employee in the form of instore credit in December
