Shift Pattern: 06:00 to 18:00 4 on 4 off

Salary: £27,000 per year

• Create and adjust delivery or collection routes based on customer orders and delivery windows.
• Use transport management systems (TMS)
• Brief and debrief drivers - including providing instructions, paperwork, and updates.
• Handle queries or issues (e.g. delays, breakdowns, route changes).
• Report all delivery issues to the Management Team, communicating through appropriate processes
• Ensure that any defects, accidents, or safety related issues are directed straight to the Transport Shift Manager prior to the driver leaving site or upon return to site
• Support Transport Shift Manager with investigation of accidents and incidents

• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent communication (verbal & written)
• Ability to work under pressure and think on your feet
• IT literacy (Excel, TMS software)
