Class 1 Night Driver

TLP Recruitment Southampton are currently recruiting experienced  Class 1 (C+E) Night Drivers  to support a number of well-established transport and logistics clients across Southampton and the surrounding areas.
Whether you're looking for trunking, RDC work, container movements or general haulage, we have a variety of ongoing night driving opportunities to suit experienced Class 1 drivers.

The Role  Depending on the client, duties may include:
Depot-to-depot trunking
RDC deliveries and collections
General haulage
Container movements
Refrigerated transport
Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
Ensuring compliance with Driver Hours and Working Time Regulations
Delivering freight safely, professionally and on time
What We're Looking For   Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
Driver CPC Qualification Card
Digital Tachograph Card
Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred
Container or dock experience advantageous for some assignments
Good understanding of Driver Hours and tachograph legislation
Professional, reliable and safety-focused attitude
Maximum 6 penalty points (No DR or IN endorsements)
