Position: HGV CAT C+E DRIVER

Here at The Best Connection we are looking for experienced HGV Cat C+E Drivers to join our client based in Southampton. This is an ongoing role, with potential to go full time with a contract.

Salary - £17.00 / £18.50 per hour

Shift Pattern
- Monday to Friday 10 hour minimum

Location
- Southampton

Start Time - AM OR PM SHIFTS

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Delivering and collecting containers from the dock to local companies or Trunking up to Midlands.
Day or Night trunking up to the midlands with General Haulage so Curtain side double decker work
No hand-balling involved
Vehicle checks, making sure the containers are secured
Reporting any issues to the night manager

WHAT IS REQUIRED/BENEFITS:

Full UK Class 1 licence
CPC & DIGI required
Valid DP World Card
Must complete driving assessment & induction
Container experience is essential
Must have been in and out of the docks
Good numeracy and literacy skills
On-site parking
Ongoing work, with overtime on weekends
