Class 1 Driver - Southampton (Pertemps Royal Mail) | £21.72 - £24.84 per hour | Full Time, Temporary/Ongoing

This role covers trunking operations between Royal Mail depots nationwide, with no handballing involved. You will transport mail across scheduled routes, perform thorough vehicle checks, and maintain exemplary safety standards throughout each shift. Morning, evening, and weekend patterns are available, offering flexibility across the working week. The position suits an experienced C+E licence holder who values precision and professionalism behind the wheel.

Trunking between Royal Mail depots No handballing — just organised, planned routes Morning, evening and weekend shifts available

• Transport mail between national sites
• Complete vehicle checks and uphold top‑tier safety
• Follow scheduled routes with precision
• Represent Royal Mail with professionalism on every run

• Valid HGV Class 1 / C+E licence (held for 1+ years)
• A valid and in date CPC + Digital Tachograph card
• 180+ days of Class 1 driving experience in the last 2 years
• Max 6 points on your licence
• Able to pass vetting & DBS checks

• Excellent pay: £21.72 - £24.84 p/h (shift dependent)
• Guaranteed minimum daily hours
• Weekly pay, holiday accrual & pension (PAYE)
• Option to secure preferred shifts after assessment
• Onsite parking & canteen facilities are available in most Depots
