Class 2 Delivery Driver

Driver Hire Winchesterr is recruiting Class 2 (Cat

C) Drivers to join a well-established client delivering drinks and snacks to airport lounges
.

This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced Class 2 drivers and newly qualified drivers looking to build their experience and secure long-term employment.

• Monday to Friday – no weekend working
• Regular weekday hours
• Temp-to-perm – permanent position available after 12 weeks
• Newly qualified Class 2 drivers welcome
• Full training provided
• Driver's mate provided to assist with deliveries
• Weekly PAYE or PAYE Advanced pay
• On-site parking
• Ongoing support from the local Driver Hire Southampton team
• Opportunities for CPC training and licence upgrades
• £250 sign-up bonus after successfully completing your first 10 shifts.

You will be responsible for delivering drinks and snacks to airport lounges using a Class 2 vehicle
.

• Start times between 7:00am and 8:30am
• Monday to Friday
• Deliveries made using cages
• Working alongside a driver's mate
• Customer-facing role, so a professional and friendly approach is important
• Manual handling will be involved

To be considered, you will need:

• Full UK Cat C (Class
  2) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Clean driving licence – no points or endorsements
• Minimum 5 years' continuous employment history for security vetting
• Own transport to commute
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling

Newly qualified Class 2 drivers are encouraged to apply! If you have recently passed your Class 2 test and are looking for your first opportunity, full training and support will be provided.

Due to the airport delivery location, successful applicants will be required to complete DBS and airport security checks
. You must also be able to provide a minimum of 5 years' continuous employment history for the vetting process.
