We are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 HGV Drivers to join a busy and well-established drinks distribution operation based in Wetherby.

The role involves delivering alcohol and other drinks products to local bars, pubs, restaurants and eateries across the surrounding area.

The Role

* Delivering alcohol and drinks products to local bars, pubs, restaurants and eateries

* Working as part of a Driver + Driver's Mate team

* Deliveries are completed using a handball method, so the role involves regular manual handling

* Typically 8–9 hour shifts

* Job & Finish – once your deliveries are completed, your working day is finished

* Working closely with your Driver's Mate to ensure deliveries are completed safely and efficiently

* Providing a professional and friendly service to customers

* Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring the vehicle is kept clean and safe.

Requirements

* Valid Class 2 (Category

C) licence

* Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph

* Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience preferred

* Comfortable with handball and manual handling

* Good customer service skills

* Reliable, punctual and professional

* Able to work effectively as part of a Driver + Driver's Mate team

* Good knowledge of UK roads
