Multi Drop Van Driver

Location: Nursling

We are seeking a reliable and professional Multi Drop Van Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently across multiple locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.

Hours:

Tuesday–Saturday (6am start)
Pay Rate: £13.71ph standard –£20.07ph overtime

Duties

* Safely operate a van to deliver goods to various destinations within the designated area.

* Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries.

* Load and unload items, including heavy lifting when necessary, adhering to health and safety guidelines.

* Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered.

* Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain customer signatures upon completion of each drop.

* Conduct routine vehicle checks to ensure the van remains in good working order.

* Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies during driving shifts.

Requirements

* Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with multi-drop routes.

* Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.

* Experience with commercial driving and operating vans or similar vehicles.

* Knowledge of local roads and navigation skills.

* Previous warehouse experience is advantageous, especially involving heavy lifting.

* Excellent communication skills, with a professional attitude towards customers and colleagues.

* Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy packages when required.
