Trade Counter​/Warehouse

We are currently looking to recruit a Trade Counter Assistant who will provide first class customer service to all customers ‘over the counter,’ and undertake Warehouse Operative duties as and when required.

• You will be the face of SIG and will be required to engage with customers both over the phone and in face to face.
• Take customer orders and provide key product information to customers visiting our busy Trade Counter.
• Work closely with the warehouse team.
• Have good knowledge of warehouse processes and assist from time to time.
• Pick the correct products and pack orders.
• Keep the warehouse tidy.

• Ability to engage with customers and have some sales experience.
• Some knowledge of warehousing processes.
• Manual handling experience.
• Experience in the construction industry, and ideally product knowledge.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Dynamic and motivated.
• Forklift licence (desirable); training can be given.
