Job Talent are recruiting for experienced Warehouse Operatives in the Millbrook area of Southampton. We are looking for hard‑working and experienced warehouse operatives to join our client’s team as they ramp up for new business opportunities and need core team members to join the operation.

Overview

As a Warehouse Operative
, you will be expected to perform duties in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with a focus on accuracy and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately receive, pick, assemble and load customer orders within depot targets.
  • Contribute to a clean and safe working environment and protect health and safety at all times.
  • Handle customer stock with care to minimize damages and maximize customer service.
  • Adhere to instructions regarding manual handling and the use of equipment, including pre-operational checks and reporting defects.
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles and stack stock onto/off pallets in a safe and stable manner.
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work both individually and as part of a team in a physically demanding environment.
  • A positive, can-do attitude with a focus on first-time-right work.
  • Flexibility to work a rotating shift pattern.
  • Safety shoes and a readiness to work in a warehouse setting.
  • Previous inventory management experience or experience with scanners is preferred (training offered).
Role details
  • Starting hourly rate: £12.71 (basic).
  • Location:

    Millbrook Area, Southampton.
  • Hours:

    06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00, rotating every two weeks.
  • Paid breaks: 30 minutes daily, fully paid.
  • Temporary role based on business requirements and performance; multiple positions available for a minimum of five days per week (Mon–Fri).
