- Wellingborough Quest Employment are currently recruiting experienced Counterbalance Forklift Drivers to join a busy warehouse and distribution operation based in Wellingborough, NN8. This is a great opportunity for candidates looking for long-term, ongoing employment , consistent Monday to Friday shifts and the opportunity to earn up to £500 in additional attendance and performance bonuses.

Please note:

Previous Counterbalance FLT operating experience is essential. Accredited, in-house and expired licences will be considered. We are specifically looking for candidates who want long-term employment rather than short-term work during the November and December peak period. This is not an FLT-only position. Candidates must be happy completing general warehouse duties, including picking, packing and manual handling, when required. November & December Bonus

November Bonus: £250 December Bonus: £250 Total Potential Bonus: £500 To qualify, candidates must:
Maintain 100% attendance throughout the qualifying period, subject to permitted exceptions Arrive on time and complete scheduled shifts Maintain a positive attitude and follow workplace procedures Work safely and cooperatively with colleagues Be flexible with reasonable changes to duties, departments or shifts when required Candidates starting part-way through a qualifying period may qualify for a pro-rata bonus of £75 per week.

November's bonus is planned for payment on 27th November 2026, with December's planned for 18th December 2026, subject to payroll confirmation. This is a temporary, discretionary bonus scheme running until 31st December 2026. Payments are subject to eligibility, attendance, performance and flexibility requirements. Each qualifying period is assessed separately.

The Role As a Counterbalance FLT Driver, your duties may include:
Operating a Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently Loading and unloading customer collection vehicles and trailers Loading double-deck and triple-deck trailers Maximising trailer space while maintaining safe weight distribution Unloading supplier deliveries and processing customer returns Handling oversized and non-standard palletised freight Using tablets and handheld scanners to record stock movements Photographing completed loads and deliveries for documentation purposes Identifying and reporting damaged or non-compliant loads Moving and organising stock throughout the warehouse Picking, packing and preparing customer orders when required Supporting goods-in, goods-out and general warehouse operations Working towards loading schedules and operational deadlines Following all site health and safety procedures What We're Looking For We are looking for candidates who:
Have proven Counterbalance FLT operating experience Hold a Counterbalance licence - accredited, in-house or expired licences considered Can provide evidence of previous forklift training or certification Have experience loading and unloading trailers or delivery vehicles Have good spatial awareness and an understanding of safe load distribution Are comfortable handling oversized or unusual palletised loads Have previous warehouse, goods-in or distribution experience Are confident using handheld scanners, tablets or warehouse systems Have excellent attention to…
