Box Office Cashier

They create a welcome environment for patrons. Sells tickets to movies and special events, provides movie and event information, and enforces theatre admission policies. Responsible for the security of cash and tickets. Maintains and cleans the Box Office area.

• Cheerfully greet patrons.
• Provide movie, special event, and general theatre information.
• Accurately sell tickets, accept payments, and make change.
• Operate Point of Sale terminals and ticket printers properly.
• Operate and effectively communicate on a two‑way radio.
• Follow MPA film rating guidelines when selling admission tickets.
• Follow theatre policies for selling admission tickets.
• Answer the telephone courteously and professionally.
• Keep the box office area clean and stocked with supplies.
• Watch for safety issues (trip hazards, suspicious persons, etc.) and report to management.

The concession attendant serves prepackaged food and drink and maintains the concession area in a sanitary condition.

• Provide services to customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Serve food in proper pre‑determined portion sizes.
• Maintain adequate food supplies.
• Keep the concession service area clean continually.
• Use a popcorn popper as needed and attend to concession equipment.
• Clean the concession area before and after business hours.
• Maintain the appearance of all equipment and serving counters.
• Ensure menu items are prepared in sufficient quantities to satisfy volume demands.
• Receive deliveries when assigned.
• Perform other related duties as required.

The usher/doorman collects admission tickets, directs patrons to the correct auditoriums, and helps maintain clean facilities such as lobbies, hallways, auditoriums, and restrooms. They greet patrons, assist with general questions, and refer patrons to management when needed.

• Provide services to customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Manage crowd control and assist patrons in finding seating when necessary.
• Clean and inspect auditoriums.
• Assist patrons with special needs, such as helping those with wheelchairs.
• Maintain order and ensure adherence to safety rules.
• Assist patrons with questions or complaints.
• Inspect backpacks and packages when applicable.
• Perform other related duties as required.
