Materials Management Technician – Baptist Memorial Health Care
Delivers supplies to user departments. Processes requests for stock items. Maintains patient care equipment. Performs receiving/storeroom functions and linen distribution functions as directed. Performs other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities- Delivers supplies to User Departments.
- Maintains inventory control for assigned areas to meet customer supply needs.
- Processes requests for Stock items.
- Performs data entry related to the patient charge sheet process.
- Maintains patient care equipment.
- Performs receiving/storeroom functions.
- Performs related accountabilities/responsibilities as required or directed.
- Completes assigned goals.
Experience:
Knowledge of medical and non‑medical supplies.
Preferred/Desired: 6 months working with patient care supplies & equipment; prior experience in medical supplies, including ability to calculate usage and demand and basic purchasing procedures.
Education (Minimum Required):
Skill in communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral and verbal formats to achieve high productivity and efficiency. Written communication must be legible and accurate.
Training:
Working knowledge of the Materials Management Information System and general warehouse/storeroom operations.
Preferred/Desired (Training): 1 year of experience.
Special Skills (Minimum Required):
Basic computer skills.
