About the Role

The Relationship Manager is a vital client-facing role responsible for delivering exceptional service and administrative support to both clients and advisors. Acting as a trusted partner to one or more advisors, this position ensures all client interactions and account management tasks are handled with precision, efficiency, and a commitment to excellence. This includes overseeing new account setup, managing account maintenance, and facilitating smooth asset transfers.

The Relationship Manager also contributes to the enhancement of office procedures, project coordination, training, and the ongoing development of best practices. This role serves as a true extension of the advisory team and is instrumental in upholding a high standard of client experience.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-touch, personalized service to clients and advisors with professionalism and care.
  • Maintain and update client records and documentation with accuracy in CRM systems.
  • Manage the end-to-end process of all operations to ensure timely and seamless execution.
  • Support advisors in meeting regulatory and internal compliance standards for client reviews.
  • Prepare, process, and track client documentation in accordance with advisor instructions.
  • Execute asset movements accurately and within required timelines based on client or advisor direction.
  • Collaborate with management and stakeholders to meet project objectives and support firm-wide goals.
  • Communicate project expectations and progress effectively to team members and leadership.
  • Participate in the development and refinement of operational procedures to improve efficiency.
  • Contribute to setting and managing timelines, deliverables, and expectations for internal projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the financial services or banking industry (preferred).

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in financial services platforms such as Orion, Salesforce (preferred).
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for research, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow.
  • Ability to analyze data and compile detailed reports.
  • Excellent organizational, time management skills and the ability to prioritize operations effectively.
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong commitment to continuous personal and professional development.

Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the financial services or banking industry (preferred).

The total rewards expected for this role include:

  • Starting annual base salary between $65,000 - $81,250.
  • Variable compensation potential (Bonus and/or commissions).
